ACCESS TO THE HÚS
The heartbeat of NEOC activity! This collaborative workspace is home to our desk and office tenants, our rentable meeting spaces, boardroom, cafe, and more. Members and tenants enjoy exclusive access to all its amenities and are encouraged to use the space as an extension of their business. It is designed to be welcoming and inspirational, serving as the perfect place for being creative and productive.
Hús Day Pass - $25 / day

Work out of the Hús during business hours, 8:30-4:00, Monday through Friday. Get comfortable in the cafe, enjoy coffee, tea, powerful wifi, private phonebooths, and all of the amenities the Hús has to offer. Must be a member to purchase.
Breakout Room Allowance - 3 hours per year

Members receive 3 hours of credit per year for use in the Dolland and Youle rooms (see floorplan below). Members may rent any meeting room at member rates after their allowance is used, including the Fresnel Boardroom, and tenants have expanded monthly allowances.

Event space at the Hús is only available to members and tenants. Whether you’re looking to host an extended board meeting or a private event, we’re excited to help. Nothing beats hanging out on the water! Events are quoted on a case by case basis.

The NEOC serves as a gateway to an international network of ocean-minded entrepreneurs, innovators, industry executives, and leaders in academia. Whether you’re hoping to connect with someone in Maine or need introductions to a subject matter expert in Scandinavia, Members are encouraged to actively leverage this resource.

Whether it’s through gatherings at the Hús like Entrepreneurship in the Blue Economy (EITBE), community events like Walk the Working Waterfront, or at geopolitical conferences like Arctic Circle Assembly, we constantly strive to bring our members and Blue Economy friends together. Hosting Your Own Event

The venue includes service-ware, microphones, PA, projector, TV screen, access to the wrap around balcony overlooking Casco Bay, NEOC staff assistance, Hús tables and chairs, and more.

STUDENT INTERNS FROM THE UNIVERSITIES OF MAINE & SOUTHERN MAINE
The NEOC proudly works with the University of Maine System to create meaningful workforce development opportunities for its students while also providing support for new ventures and projects. As a member or tenant, you'll have access to undergrad research interns as well as law school and MBA candidates.
